Mobile Health IT Industry Veteran to Lead Company’s Technology Evolution
ARLINGTON, VA, Sept 17, 2015 – Ostendio, a leading provider of healthcare information security and risk management solutions, today announced mobile health IT industry veteran, Rohit Johri, joined the company as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Johri will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of Ostendio’s continued technology evolution.
In his new role, Mr. Johri will help drive the company’s position in the growing $6.5 billion digital health marketplace[1] with its flagship solution, My Virtual Compliance Manager (MyVCM™), a cloud-based security and compliance management platform. Mr. Johri will report directly to Ostendio’s founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Grant Elliott.

Mr. Johri brings almost 20 years of experience in health IT, cloud services and software development to Ostendio. He joins Ostendio from Voxiva, Inc., a leader in mobile solutions for digital health, where he led software engineering. During his tenure at Voxiva, Mr. Johri pioneered the groundbreaking “Text4baby”, the nation’s only free mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health through text messaging. Prior to relocating to the United States, Mr. Johri held technology leadership positions in India, most notably as chief manager at Times Internet Limited (TIL). TIL is the largest online network in India and the digital venture of Times of India. As a member of the leadership team, he was responsible for establishing and building the media platform, which is now considered amongst the fastest growing web-based networks worldwide. He also served as a technology lead with Interra Information Technologies, a global technology solutions and services company.
